Bath Place Capital was established in 2020 by Jonathan Chocqueel-Mangan, drawing upon his long career as an experienced C-Suite corporate executive, strategy and leadership consultant, and successful entrepreneur:

  • A strategic leader of media, education, data and entertainment businesses, defining and implementing customer-centric strategies and operating models to harness the potential of digital technology and data.
  • Particular strength exploring and implementing digital technologies, analytics and data to transform customer relationships, exploit new business models and create new markets
  • Award-winning deal-maker, supporting UK/European mid-market and global investment businesses both pre- and post-transaction
  • Global P&L experience, working extensively across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia

Having started his career as an aerospace engineer, Jonathan joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and was a partner at Heidrick and Struggles and at KPMG, before setting up Tyler Mangan, an award winning global advisory firm.  He was Chief Commercial Officer at Kantar TNS, then Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Kantar, part of WPP, before being appointed as Chief Strategy Officer at Pearson PLC.  He also holds NED roles at Full Spektrum,  and Dexla.

Jonathan holds degrees from the universities of Bath, Oxford and HEC Paris, as well as a doctorate in organisational behaviour from the University of Surrey.  He is a chartered engineer, a fellow of the RSA and a long-suffering supporter of Bath Rugby.
